The Vaccine Autism Cover Up

From Health Impact News

In what is perhaps the biggest news event of the year (that the mainstream media does not want to cover), the full ramifications of Dr. William Thompson of the CDC coming forward as a whistleblower to confess that the CDC has covered up data linking vaccines to autism are yet to be seen. (See: CDC Whistleblower: CDC Covered Up MMR Vaccine Link to Autism in African American Boys)
However, while blame and (hopefully) criminal complaints more than likely await many people who participated in this cover-up, there is one man who deserves honor, and to whom the mainstream media owes a huge apology: Dr. Andrew Wakefield.
Dr. Wakefield is the world-renowned gastrointestinal surgeon and researcher who has been accused of fraud and fabricating studies that show a link between the MMR vaccine and bowel disease, present in many children with autism. Dr. Wakefield was not an anti-vaccine doctor. Rather, he was a doctor interested in vaccine safety, and his studies led him (and many other researchers) to believe that there were problems with the three-combo vaccine of measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR). He did not advise his patients to stop vaccinating, but instead to vaccinate for these three diseases with single vaccines, rather than the combo.
There was just one problem with this advice. While this advice was in the best interest of parents seeking vaccine safety, it was not in the best interest of the manufacturer of the MMR vaccine (Merck), which saw a decline in its sales in the UK (although there was initially an increase in the sale of single-dose vaccines).
Dr. Wakefield’s research regarding the MMR vaccine and its link to bowel disease and autism was originally published in the Lancet. But a journalist by the name of Brian Deer published an article in the British Medical Journal criticizing Dr. Wakefield and accusing him of fraud. As a result, his study in the Lancet was retracted. Dr. Wakefield, and one of the co-authors of the retracted article, Prof. John Walker-Smith, were barred from practicing medicine by the United Kingdom’s General Medical Council regulatory board.
What you will not read in the mainstream media, however, is that both the BMJ and Lancet have strong financial ties to the manufacturer of the MMR vaccine. (See: BMJ & Lancet Wedded to Merck CME Partnership) You probably also did not read that Dr. Andrew’s co-author in the study,  Prof. John Walker-Smith, fought an expensive legal battle against the United Kingdom’s General Medical Council and won. He was completely exonerated
Dr. Andrew Wakefield, in the meantime, lost his career and name for simply following the truth his research led him to. He became the scapegoat, the “straw man” to knock down in the mainstream media. Every time someone would bring up any question regarding vaccines and autism you will usually encounter something like: “That theory has been totally proven false, and the guy who made it up was convicted of fraud.” I have even had people tell me on social media that “the guy” (most don’t even know his name) did “prison time.”
However, Dr. Wakefield was never convicted by a jury or in a court of law, and he lives in the U.S. today. He has issued challenges to his accusers to debate him in the media, but of course they have never accepted his challenge. He is a leading expert in gut health, a subject sorely needing research today, in an age where not only vaccines, but antibiotics, pesticides, and many other things have destroyed our ability to digest our food properly, leading to many bowel diseases. A list of his research, provided from his Facebook Page, is listed HERE
If you want to know what people who personally know Dr. Wakefield think about him, read this report from one of the parents of two children that were part of his study that was allegedly “fabricated.” Dr. Wakefield was so successful in working with parents and children in in the U.K., helping them to find solutions to complicated health problems, that a British TV program was made dramatizing his work in the 1990s. It recently resurfaced on YouTube here.
Is it any wonder that so many people are losing faith in the Health industry? If they truly were wanting to help those with illnesses and to keep people healthy they wouldn’t have to do coverups, or smear a good Doctor’s name!
Those who still haven’t seen the light shining brightly on the criminality of the CDC, big Pharma, and who will argue the facts presented as to the harm that vaccinations can do, are living with their heads in the sand.

You’ve been a pitbull on this issue, B. Good job.

    • Blessed B. says:

Thanks Clyde. Yeah…I have been a bit of a pitbull! It gets me so darn mad when I hear people pushing for vaccinations without knowing that they can do some real harm and even cause death.

I wish that everyone knew the skinny about them and then able to make up their own minds about it. Everyone should be able to make the choice on whether or not the pros outweigh the cons. An informed choice is what is needed and one can’t do that unless they get the full truth given to them!

  2. Kathy says:

It’s a crying shame when good guys like Wakefield get ostracized for doing the right thing and speaking the truth, but sadly that is one of the side-effects of being a whistleblower. The media and the clueless people are to blame for this.

    • Blessed B. says:

They had to do it…. They had to make him look like a quack! If too many people believed Dr. Wakefield then the sales of the vaccines would go down and they couldn’t allow that to happen.

I fully agree with your last sentence!

  3. Hardnox says:

I ditto Clyde’s remark. The parallels are too coincidental to ignore. Honestly, who ever heard of autism 20 or 30 years ago? Now it’s everywhere.

    • Blessed B. says:

Yep…. the numbers are rising quickly! It’s not only due to vaccinations but they do have a great deal to do with it.

The rate of autism among American children has nearly doubled over the past decade, according to a new report released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), jumping from about one in 150 children back in 2000 to about one in 88 children in 2008, which is the last time official estimates were calculated. And interestingly, this steady rise in autism rates coincides directly with CDC-endorsed vaccination schedules that have also risen sharply since the 1980s.

Back in 1983, for example, the CDC recommended only ten vaccines for children from birth through six years old ( Today, that number has risen significantly to 29 vaccines and counting, many of which are now administered all at one time or in combinations like the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine (

besides vaccines, fluoridated water, MSG (, GMOs (, toxic chemicals both in the environment and in the food supply, and processed foods in general have all been linked to autism spectrum disorders as well ( ~~

If a child has a metabolic disorder and has a more difficult time in eliminating toxins from their little bodies then the risk is much greater. Metabolic disorders are not screened for and one doesn’t see anything until the damage has been done!
