The Real Fight Against ISIS Begins in Saudi Arabia

From Middle East Forum

There is a disgraceful spectacle unfolding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in which some of the leading lights of the West are playing the role of medieval court jesters, singing platitudes to tyrants in a demonstration of subservience that shames the rest of us.
Ostensibly, the American, British, French and other European leaders travelled to the medieval monstrosity we call Saudi Arabia to offer condolences to the family of the late King Abdullah.
But the reality is different. They are there because the Saudis have money and oil.
On one hand the West claims it is fighting to destroy Islamic State (ISIS), yet it strengthens its ties with the very people who have spent an estimated $100 billion to spread Wahhabism, the foundational Islamist creed of ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaida, Boko Haram and the Taliban.
How such statesmen and personalities of the free world as President Barack Obama, Prince Charles, French President Francois Hollande, UK Prime Minister David Cameron and the Archbishop of Canterbury could be taken in by the Saudis is mind-boggling.
But the hypocrisy and chicanery of Western leaders has not gone unnoticed.
Alastair Crooke the former MI-6 agent and author of the book, Resistance: The Essence of Islamic Revolution, has been trying to educate Western Liberals.
Writing in the Huffington Post, Crooke says, “You Can’t Understand ISIS If You Don’t Know the History of Wahhabism in Saudi Arabia.”
Saying there is little difference between the Saudis the West supposedly admires and the Islamic State (ISIS) it is fighting, the former MI6 agent explains his argument by citing a historic slaughter the Saudis and their ISIS-like allies of the time committed:
Their (Saudi) strategy — like that of ISIS today — was to bring the peoples whom they conquered into submission. They aimed to instill fear …
In 1801, the Allies (Saudis and Wahhabis) attacked the Holy City of Karbala in Iraq. They massacred thousands of Shiites, including women and children … A British official, Lieutenant Francis Warden, observing the situation at the time, wrote: ‘They pillaged the whole of it (Karbala) … slaying in the course of the day, with circumstances of peculiar cruelty, above 5,000 of the inhabitants…’
While Crooke relied on history and his knowledge of the area to nudge Western leaders out of their intoxicated slumber, English author and former Conservative MP Louise Mensch launched a tirade on Twitter to express the feelings of millions of us in the West who felt betrayed by their leaders.
Mensch was furious when Cameron said he was “deeply saddened” by the Saudi king’s death while Obama’s boasted of his “friendship” with him.
She tweeted: “F— you Saudi Arabia and shame on the supine male leaders of the West @David_Cameron @BarackObama #Freethe4 #JeSuisFemme”.
The hashtag #Freethe4 was in reference to the four daughters of King Abdullah whom the Saudi tyrant had imprisoned under house arrest for many years.
As Western leaders lined up to pay homage to a new dictator in Riyadh, they pretended they didn’t know that just two weeks before his death, Abdullah’s government had lashed liberal Saudi blogger Raif Badawi 50 times for the “crime” of defending atheists. Up to 950 more lashes could await the brave Badawi.

Liberal blogger Raif Badawi, perhaps the number one enemy of ISIS in the Kingdom, will be subjected to ritual torture by the Saudi state.

While Prime Minister Stephen Harper also praised Abdullah upon his death, at least he knows cola in a can is the same thing as cola in a bottle.
The Saudi’s are the ones financing all the terrorist groups!  I’m sure all the world leaders must know this by now, yet they are still playing nicey-nice with them!
I can understand why Obi and his wookie went over there. He’s paying homage to his puppetmaster. Though the wookie wasn’t much impressed. That’s okay…they weren’t impressed either when she didn’t wear a head scarf in their presence! As a visitor she wasn’t required to but when in Rome you should at least try to fit in. She wore one in Indonesia when she went on the visit with Obi…. why not now?
I find it utterly sickening! The leftist mindset….. cranial rectumitis … simply astounding!

“They are there because the Saudis have money and oil.”

All the more reason to strive for American energy independence.

I agree! Though America does make monies from the Saudi blood oil that it imports….it is sold off again to others…. America doesn’t use it for really anything else.

Canadian ethical oil on the other hand is used 100% by the American public.

I read something recently that said that the reason for the slump in oil prices was due to Obama and the Saudi’s wanting to hurt and close down the Alberta oil sands, as it was hurting the Saudi’s funding the terrorists. I’ll have to look for it and post it!

With the oil reserves in both Canada and the USA, there shouldn’t be a need to purchase the blood oil off of the Saudi’s.

From Non-mainstream comes the latest in Obama’s saga of anarchy. On January 28th, according to the report the US State Department hosted a delegation of Muslim Brotherhood members. It was, if reported at all, most certainly low key in mainstream media. After that meeting per this report , one of the Muslim Brotherhood top leaders was seen on middle east television praising the US for their meeting. Then in the next breathe informed the world at large as to jhad under way to take over Egypt and remove Israel and all nonbelievers. He also said that Jhad would continue until all countries of the world flew a Muslim flag and upheld Sharia law.

An additional article was cited written back in 2011 enumerating many of the chiefs of the Brotherhood and listing their fundamental goal of elimination of any and all who would stand against a One World Muslim order.

This only days after the death of an Egyptian of international consequence and the vitriol spouted by Obama and his State Department members concerning the visit of the Israeli member to Congress.

How much more shoild the people of the world take of this blight before an antivirus is produced to rid the world? How much more should the citizens of our country allow before we the people wake up and realize what cancer is rotting our country from the top down?

    • Blessed B. says:

Well said Liz! One can only hope that things will change for the better in America once the terrorist sympathizer is out of office!

I feel that sometime soon others will finally awaken from their stupor and start to demand that their governments start getting tough on the blight that is spreading and if the government turns a blind eye then the people will have to do something about that too!

  3. Clyde says:

Now you know WHY the leftist loons, led by Obama, are pushing HARD against developing American resources. Asshats are OWNED, as was Bush, by the House of Saud.

  4. Kathy says:

They call it a ‘delicate balance’, but until we have leadership that is willing to take us to domination of the oil industry, it will always be like this – fighting on the one hand and friendly on the other, and always buying their oil.

    • Blessed B. says:

There should be no “delicate balance” when dealing with those who are helping your demise! One isn’t considered a friend if they are acting like your enemy!

      • Liz entrekin says:

on internet today — obama has gottten his way Again. Look at the comments as well. Sickening.

        • Blessed B. says:

Yep…don’t want to rock the boat any cuz it could get Iran angry with the United States…’s okay though for politicians to say out of one side of their mouths that they are Israel’s greatest ally then turn around and kick Israel in face….. some great friend there!

          Thanks for the link Liz!

This made me guffaw loudly…. At a time of growing diplomatic isolation, Israel only has one firm ally that it can depend on – the United States.

Uh sorry…but with friends like these Israel is better off not having any! Canada is Israel’s one firm ally…we have said that we support Israel in defending herself….amongst other things.

From a comment…..Pretending Israel is any better than countries such as SA is delusional.

Deflating spit bubble…..Israel is many times better than Saudi Arabia! Israel doesn’t chop heads off of those who go against the Government.

and another comment…. The IDF could start a war with Iran, but it couldn’t finish one.

LMAO! I’d be willing to make a bet on that! Israel could finish off Iran if she chose to!

Quick check here of the recognition in the US as a NAMED religion. I find this chilling: Wikipedia lists a chart of worldwide religions from a PEW 2010 report.

The greatest known population of muslim faith is Indonesia and Middle East but also China, Balkans, And wait for it Russia. It noted Canada had 1+ million per census. England had 2.4+ million by census and the US 2.5 million according to census; however, from other sources they determined more like 6-7 million.

I looked at the Census religion data. Many religions and divisions are noted. The most blaring and obvious error is not ONE has been noted as Muslim perse (like Islamic temple of Detroit). In other words if Islam is a legitimately recognized religion in the US where are the population willing to stand and proclaim their faith? I smell a coverup pooper.

      • Blessed B. says:

Yes….Canada has about 3.2%of the population as muslim. They are mostly situated in Toronto….Calgary has a large percentage also. There are also many in the Province of Quebec due to them only speaking French…. Tunisians.

Since Russia is quite considerably larger than the USA or even Canada…..I would expect that they have many….. Chechnya is filled with muslims.

For the past few years in Canada though, the Gov’t. has put in stricter rules for immigration. Before this….Many muslims came to Canada, got immigration status and then went back to their place of origin……they aren’t even living here! So….I’m not too sure if the number of over a million is in fact the actual number of muslims living in Canada.

Canada now in cooperation with Israel are screening the many muslims who are asking to immigrate to Canada.

Harper has said in the House of Commons that islam is not a religion but a seditious political party and will not be recognized as a religion…… I haven’t heard though what has been done or is in the works to have this acknowledged.

        • Liz entrekin says:

At least Canada is making headway. My son just mentioned Norway also taking stronger stand but has run into a great amount of arguments. It was really slap on forehead and aha moment to see how the US Census had No mention of them since So many liberadummies refer to them as a religion.

          • Blessed B. says:

Canada is farther ahead than some thank goodness. I would expect that if the Norwegian Gov’t had had a terrorist storm their governmental building while everyone was inside….they might not have all those arguments! LOL!

Liberals don’t think for themselves and just spew what they have heard other idiots say. That’s why they refer to them as a Religion.

        • Liz entrekin says:

Blessed B. Here is a chilling testimony and words of wisdom from one who has suffered and left islam.

          • Blessed B says:

Do not be afraid and speak the truth…..words to live by!

I have spoken to a few ex-muslims here…. none of them ever tell me I am wrong in my understanding of this cult.

I have even spoken to an older lady who immigrated here after her three grown daughters had been gang raped and tortured and murdered in Afghanistan. She said to watch my children closely as there are many in the world who wish to do harm to them. We cried together when she was telling me her story…..

            Thanks for posting this Liz!
