Remember Christine Weick? She Strikes Again!

Remember in November when the muslims were allowed to hold a prayer service in our National Cathedral? It was interrupted by a blonde woman in a black coat who proclaimed Jesus as our Lord and who we should be worshipping, after which she was escorted from the church and the muslims began their service. That was Christine Weick and she made an appearance in Austin Thursday at a CAIR sponsored event at the capitol building.  I was unable to post the non-YouTube video, but you can watch it by clicking on the link below.

The Austin American Statesmen reports:

What was supposed to be a rally at the Texas Capitol Thursday promoting political engagement and tolerance for Muslims was largely derailed by sustained screams from protesters loudly advocating for something quite apart from peace and love.

Texas Muslim Capitol Day was organized by Texas chapters of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, whose members intended to raise awareness on issues, advocate on a number of bills and celebrate their right as Americans — and in one speaker’s case an eighth-generation Texan — to be part of the political process.

But not one of the 10 or so speakers at the hourlong event managed to finish a sentence without being heckled by noisome group of maybe two dozen that fanned out about 20 paces from the south steps of the statehouse. A patriotic song by the Houston Koran Academy didn’t even silence the screaming.

CAIR-TX spokeswoman Ruth Nasrullah had barely begun the program when a woman briefly commandeered the podium and attempted to claim the Capitol in the name of Jesus Christ. The woman, a native Michigander who said she goes “wherever the Lord calls,” later said she was seized by “righteous anger” and felt she’d accomplished what she attempted to do Thursday morning.

“I want to inspire Americans against this and proclaim for Jesus Christ and not their god, Allah,” Christine Weick said.

Although the Texas House is in recess until next week, at least one elected official didn’t exactly put a welcome mat outside her office door for the Muslim activists. State Rep. Molly White, R-Belton, posted on Facebook that she had left an Israeli flag in her office “with instructions to staff to ask representative from the Muslim community to renounce Islamic terrorist groups and publicly announce allegiance to America and our laws.”

That post prompted CAIR’s national government affairs manager to email General Counsel and House Ethics Advisor Frank Battle asking whether “White had violated any House rules in creating such an internal office policy that is selectively being enforced to discriminate against certain religious minorities trying to meet with her or her staff? Are House members prohibited from making constituents take oaths before meeting with their elected representatives or house staff? Or, are you aware of any other ethical breaches that may have occurred because of these statements?”

Many a speaker at the podium said both their and the protesters’ presence was a celebration of a robust First Amendment. One, Wardah Khalid, who writes the Young American Muslim blog for the Houston Chronicle and for the Huffington Post, said it was time for Muslims to embrace their rights and craft their own narrative of who they are.

“We as Muslim Americans will no longer sit idle as others seek to define us and our beautiful faith,” Khalid said.

A similar event at the capitol during the last session reportedly drew zero protesters, but Rev. Ronnie Lister of Houston, who spoke in favor of the CAIR activists, said he fully expected the sound and fury he heard and saw Tuesday.

Lister’s prepared remarks — delivered in an oratorical cadence very much reminiscent of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. — argued that despite attendees’ differences, the event was a gathering of equals.

“It is very important that we concentrate on what Allah has sent us here to do today,” Lister said. “It is very important to understand that the world is changing. And when things change, people get scared and they get crazy. God is in you and me and even the hecklers over there. God is in everything but evil. Allah akbar!”

Later, Lister said people of differing faiths would do well to read the holy books of other religions as a way to promote tolerance and inclusion, but he didn’t see that happening anytime soon.

“This is an indication of the expansion of the freedom of America,” Lister said. “America is a melting pot and Muslims are Americans who pay their taxes and must be included.”

“This is nothing,” Lister said of the protesters. “Their anger and hate will not allow them to use their minds.”

You’d think between the protesters and Ms Weick, they’d get the message – you’re not wanted here. Instead of demanding that they be included, the muslims should be blending into our society and they should denounce all terrorist activities, of which we’ve heard little.

They claim to promote tolerance for muslims, when in fact, this looked like most muslim events – a CAIR sponsored, in your face, we’re not leaving, learn to accept it type lecture from the steps of our capitol.

Which brings up another point – where were all the atheists and other protesters who want religion and government separated? Why was nobody protesting this event held on government property? It appears to be acceptable when it’s muslims.

That aside – kudos to Christine for shaking things up and taking a stand for Christianity. The woman does get around. Is that the infidel symbol on her shirt?

Kudos indeed. She has courage. I hope it’s contagious.

Oh, boy, Kathy~! Lister opened Pandora’s Box with this statement: “Later, Lister said people of differing faiths would do well to read the holy books of other religions as a way to promote tolerance and inclusion, but he didn’t see that happening anytime soon.”

The thing is, that some folks ARE reading the holy books of other religions, and that includes the muslim murderer’s manual. Why the hell does he think they’re protesting??? Do the muchits think the infidel is deaf, blind and dumb??? The “Infidel” is indeed, waking up, and seeing the hellishness that is being brainwashed into the muchit world~!

Yep, so many issues here, I could have gone into a full blown rant on this one. There’s enough information about islam on the internet that people can learn from – even for the ones that haven’t read their vile book.

As we move forward daily, muslims and communists are becoming more emboldened to speak out. First order of business I think would be to find out how many are Really US citizens. If not a citizen, then deported on illegal status. Second if actual citizens, THEY MUST RENEW THEIR VOW OF PATRIOTISM AND CITIZENSHIP TO THE US. If they can not then they need to be deported. If they do then place them on a watch list. Make it understood that their continued citizenship rests upon their lawful adherence to that pledge if not they will be tried for treason and/or deported if they do not follow the constitution and laws of this country.

    • Kathy says:

They’re speaking out more freely now because they know they have a sympathizer in the White House, if not a full blown supporter. That and the fact that we’ve been so beaten down with the intolerance garbage, so we don’t defend Christianity like we should.

Fantastic commentary, Kathy. You bring up a lot of great points.

We all know what CAIR is about, and it ain’t “tolerance.”

This woman is a soul-sister—I thought she was great when she spoke out at the Cathedral, and as I was writing about the brave woman who spoke out in Texas, I learned that it was one and the same heroine from the Cathedral event…I was, and am, extremely impressed with this feisty lady who has no fear and God on her side. I hope she inspires enough people to take the same initiative and show no fear to speak out where and when the occasion presents itself. We must stand up and together if we are to get this poor country back on track…

    • Kathy says:

Carol – good to hear from you again. She is a lady with convictions and I admire her too.

Today I learned that the symbol on her shirt is an Arabic N – for Nazarene. It’s her way of making another statement, and it’s perfect.

I went to Mass at Holy Hill in Hubertus Wisconsin last week (the day before the March for Life in Washington DC). During the sermon the priest stated that “…..when evil is weak it calls for tolerance….when evil is strong it suppresses all dissent…..” I asked the priest if I could post his sermon on a blog (this one) and he said he had no problem, but doesn’t write them down, only speakss from the heart… you guys get to miss one of the finest 20 minutes I have heard in years.

    • Kathy says:

Just those words alone are spot-on and it is exactly what’s happening. Suppression more so in the ME and demanding tolerance here. But for how long?

Thanks for sharing that, I’m going to remember it and use it.

  7. Terry says:

The video of this brave gal is now on YouTube, for EVERYONE to enjoy.
    God Bless her !

  8. tannngl says:

Great post, Kathy. And to add to your right on questions: Why do atheists, liberals love Islam?????

Thanks. This needed to be posted. Hope she stays safe…

  9. upaces88 says:

This just breaks my heart that this was even allowed!!!

  10. Clyde says:

Can you just IMAGINE the shit storm that would ensue if say, there were to be a Catholic Day, a Protestant Day, or a Baptist Capitol Day proclaimed ? I agree with Kathy, where the hell were the atheists and “separatists” for the muzzies ? They NEVER show up when it concerns ther “religion of piece”. Kudos to Ms. Weick.

  11. NormaInFlorida says:

Prayers & deepest thanks for this woman. She is a warrior. We all should be warriors.

    • Kathy says:

That she is, Normal and she’s on her way to Oklahoma to another ‘peaceful’ muslim assembly on government property. Will keep everyone posted.

      Welcome to N&F.
