A Sunday Feel Good Story – Lunch with God

lunch with GodToo often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.  Slow down and enjoy those around you. Have lunch with God.

Have a great Sunday.

Good find, Kathy. I commune with God whenever I’m out walking with my dogs. After all, GOD spelled backwards is DOG.

  2. Kathy,
Your comment, “oo often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring” is so true.
And how often have you heard the poor cashier checking out your groceries being abused by someone having a bad day themselves?
A cheerful, “Hello, Sunshine~!” works wonders, and a statement of understanding, such as, “Seems you’re busier than a one-armed paper-hanger in a hurricane~!” has never failed to bring out a smile of relief.
Kind of hard, to tell whose the winner – you, or the clerk~!

  3. Loved it. Thanks Kathy
