It’s never about Islam

From Canada Free Press

Don’t you just love it when our leaders maintain that Islamist extremism has nothing to do with Islam and the terrorist act du jour is just a deranged ‘lone wolf’ acting on his own? We see this on an almost weekly basis, as these so-called lone wolf killers target soldiers, cops, housewives and coffee shop patrons, indiscriminately slaughtering in the most savage and heinous ways possible.

Shootings, beheadings, vehicular homicides, bombs, knives, axes and free-flowing blood of innocents; but it has nothing to do with Islam.

I’m beginning to wonder whether our leaders are logically challenged or if something more sinister is at play. It’s not like these guys are flying in under the radar. Most are well known to the authorities and have been quite up front about their proclivities. Yet, few are stopped before they indiscriminately kill innocents.

“Sheikh” Haron was well known to Australian police and was out on bail on some fairly serious charges. But had the authorities behaved proactively and rescinded his “refugee” status following his hate speech to the families of Australian soldiers who were killed in action in Iraq, or his sexual assaults or his charge of accessory to the murder of his ex-wife, it might have damaged the conceit of, you know, multiculturalism, that blind-faith tenet now so popular among Western politicians.

Tony Abbot, Barack Obama, Francoise Hollande, Angela Merkel; all are singing the same psalm from the multicultural hymnal.

“Let’s not jump to conclusions,” we are cautioned, even as the perpetrator of the latest beheading is identified as a bearded guy with the name of Mohammed.

Call me Islamophobic, but don’t you think there’s something fishy about a religion whose adherents are so insistent that their religion stands for peace, that they’re prepared to kill you if you question it? And I’m not the only one. Currently there is a groundswell of pushback throughout Western nations, as more and more citizens question the concept of multiculturalism in general and the wisdom of allowing immigration from nations where religious fanaticism results in internecine strife.

Our leaders, on the other hand, are tsk-tsking about these illiberal thoughts. On the weekend,  Germany’s Angela Merkel chided participants in an anti-multiculturalism demonstration by saying, “there is freedom of assembly in Germany, but there is no place here for incitement and lies about people who come to us from other countries.”

So, what exactly are the lies? Is it a lie that radical Islamists call for the killing of all Jews? Is it a lie that “honor killings” mostly happen in Islamic families? Is it a lie that Islamist terrorists blew up the World Trade Center and killed nearly 3,000 people? Is it a lie that Islamists blew up the London Tube or a train in Madrid?

What’s more, most mainstream media reinforce the conceit that multiculturalism is a quaint and harmless way to outsource your population growth by claiming that “right-wing fanatics” organized the demonstrations. Der Spiegel magazine even went so far as to quote a police source as saying there were some known neo-Nazis among the demonstrators.

I’m sure there were, but I’m also sure that there were some Catholics, some Jews and a couple of Shriners among the demonstrators as well. So what?

It seems that Western politicians are at odds with their own voters, as more and more common people are questioning the wisdom of indiscriminately open borders. Political correctness isn’t something that can easily be legislated in a democracy. At some point voters will draw the line by electing leaders who hear what the people have to say. It’s a fair warning that all should take to heart.

Not all Western Politicians are at odds with their own voters. Canadian Prime Minister Harper got his majority government in the last Canadian election due to his coming out and saying that Islamism is Canada’s greatest threat. He gets it!

Britain, France, Germany etc…..haven’t quite gotten this yet unfortunately. Perhaps now that 12 innocent people who worked for a satirical French newspaper, who had the cajones to publish cartoons ridiculing mohammhead and were shot due to their belief in free speech, just might wake the French Government up! Especially since over 100,000 French citizens have taken to the streets in anti-jihad demos! That story can be found HERE !

Many of the protesters, meeting in Paris, Madrid and Berlin, have adopted the slogan ‘Je Suis Charlie’ – I am Charlie – holding up banners and placards printed with the words. Others were seen carrying enlarged versions of the some of the newspaper’s anti-Islamist cartoons.

In London, hundreds of people filled Trafalgar Square at a silent vigil for those killed when masked gunmen stormed the newspaper’s headquarters. Many held pens, pencils and notebooks in the air to show their support for the journalists, cartoonists and police officers who lost their lives.

The gatherings were held as French President Francoise Hollande declared tomorrow a day of national mourning tomorrow in respect for the victims of this morning’s attack.~~

“Thousands gather to show their solidarity with Charlie Hebdo victims in France and Britain as Francois Hollande declares tomorrow a day of mourning,”

This is what needs to be done in those countries whose leaders are not seeing the light! Good for these protestors! Let those in the power seats know that if they won’t act on this barbarism being carried out in your country…then you will! Take back your country, your values and your way of life!

It would be nice to see a popular uprising against a REAL threat. Islam SHOULD be subjected to the SAME criticism that ANY OTHER religion is subjected to. Or, as Hitlary might say, paraphrased: “We have the RIGHT to criticize THIS, or any other religion”. Good piece, B.

Good article B. No religion should welcome rape, beheadings, or a multitude of other horrific forms of “punishment”. That is not religion, rather political ideology. In which case, all countries should be moving to stamp it out since all have laws regarding rape, murder, hate crimes. Like you, I say return them to those lands and let them survive within those borders free of our restraint. And have standing orders to shoot on sight known terrorists on watch lists doesn’the seem wrong to me either. Slapping their hands certainly will not change their views nor will long term imprisonment.

It’s good to see the solidarity but it would have been better if they’d had that attitude before the incident and expelled all the muslims from European countries. People in Germany, Belgium et al have protested and want them removed, but the governments, much like ours, won’t pursue it. It’s going to take radical changes to get rid of them and stop these incidents.

I’m going to have some pins/buttons made up – a white shield with a black cross on it. Inside the black cross that goes top to bottom and side to side, a smaller gold cross made up of 4 “T”s. Where the T’s join together, a small gold shield with a black eagle on it, wings and legs spread. This will be VERY VERY close to the emblem of the Ordo domus Sanctæ Mariæ Theutonicorum Hierosolymitanorum (known in their native German as the Orden der Brüder vom Deutschen Haus der Heiligen Maria in Jerusalem). They are commonly called the Teutonic Knights, and got their start fighting Muslims. It will say something about fighting Muslim terror since the 1100’s. Might do another one with the USMC emblem and “Fighting Muslim Terrorists since 1801”. Will give these out to various friends.
