Quote Of The Day — January 5, 2015

I do not think much of ages. People are people. What does it matter how old or young they are? It is a category, and I do not like categories. It is a sort of pigeonhole or a label.”

Very true. One can be brilliant or stupid at any age. The left proves it everyday.

  2. Terry says:

I agree. My girlfriend and I are going to try to explain that to the judge, right after her recess period is over.

  3. captbogus2 says:

Yes, it is a pigeonhole and a very dangerous one at that. To constantly remind oneself of one’s age brings only negative connotations.

  4. vonMesser says:

However, I expect more from someone of the age of 30 than I do of the age of 20.

  5. CW says:

Sometimes age matters, sometimes it doesn’t.

  6. Grouchy says:

I thank you all for your comments. They are very good and to the point.
I will say this, at risk of being misunderstood. I have seen children in everyday situations who were wiser and more intelligent than the parents. Those I call, “Huh?” moments.
