Teen Thief Blown Away With His Own Shotgun By Victim

WASHINGTON – Police say a teen is dead after he allegedly tried to rob a man on a D.C. street and had his own gun turned on himself.

The shooting happened at 10:43 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Langston Place and Ainger Place in the southeast.

Officers say a 18-year-old Channel Johnson approached a 22-year-old man in the 2400 block of Ainger Place and attempted to rob him with a shotgun. A struggle took place and Johnson was shot with his own gun.

Officers say the 22-year old remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.

Johnson was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

If you don’t intend to use it, don’t pull it!
Goes for the bad guy, too…

  3. CW says:

Good thing the 22-year old wasn’t a cop or there’d be rioting in the streets today.

    Just following Biden’s advice, right??

Channel? It’s probably pronounced Sha Nell…who does this to a kid?

You bet that’s how it’s pronounced.

True story from an ER doc friend: A lady came in with her twin 6 year old daughters who filled out the paperwork. The girls were really cute but my friend was at a loss as to how to pronounce their names, so he asked the mom. One was named Yellowjello (pronounced yalangelo) the other Orangejello (pronounced Orangelo)… I shit you not! 🙂

Seriously, how the hell are people supposed to respect others with fruitcake names like that? It’s endemic in the black community. I got that they want to be different… but reading the label off a jello box ain’t it.

I knew a woman name pronounced FAW-MAL-EE. Spelled FEMALE. She was born in the mid 1930’s in the south. They just put “female” on the birth certificate for the girl, and her mother thought that the hospital had named her.

“Misuse a gun – go to Hell”. Isn’t that the way the saying goes?. Anyway, bye bye dumb-ass.

And Kathy is right about the name pronunciation. There’s nothing stupider than naming a child after diseases, body parts, auto names, etc….

    • Hardnox says:

      Yep.

See my comment to Kathy. I know a school teacher who taught a string of girls from the same mom. Each one was named after the private parts of a woman. The teacher cringed every time she had a roll call.

Like Kathy said, “who does that to a kid?”

The same ER doc that I mentioned above had a custodian at the hospital who’s name was spelled Dickhead (pronounced Dithead). Imagine calling that named out in public. The staff nicknamed him D.H. 🙂

Good post, WITH a happy ending. That Channel has been removed from the gene pool lineup.

Shouldn’t this be a Funny Friday item?
