Veterans’ Day 2013

I would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL who have put on our nation’s military uniforms in service to the country. To those who served, are serving, and especially those who paid the ultimate price to protect, and defend us.

We owe you and your families an enormous debt, that can probably never be repaid.

Hang in there, guys and gals. We ARE trying to get you ADULT, COMPETENT leadership.

  3. Clyde says:

ALL : Thank you for the kind comments, but it AIN’T about me. All about THEM.

  4. Well Done, Clyde~! Take a bow~!
You done it right – And the Military will appreciate it.

  5. Clyde says:

I’d take the bow, GF, but would probably fall over. haha Thanks. I don’t do it for praise, nor thanks. Just do it from my heart.

As I’ve said here before, I’m an old geezer and there is a lot going on today that really pisses me off, not the least of which is the half-assed half-breed in the White House,

BUT, one thing that has improved in recent years is the respect for our military and veterans. Not too many years back, the military was called names and spat upon, now we’ve seen a resurgence of appreciation of the men and women who guard the gates for all of us. They deserve our thanks and respect.

When you get a chance, in person, do something nice for a guy/gal in uniform.

While I certainly welcome the respect the service members receive, we shall see how genuine it is from leftists once a conservative POTUS is elected. Thanks, Garnet.
