McConnell’s War On Conservatives

From Canada Free Press By Jerry McConnell:

The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) Quotes Kentucky Newspaper on Senator’s War on His Own Party

The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) “Senate Update” quotes one of Kentucky’s two largest newspapers, the Lexington Herald-Leader, which recently reported that “U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the Republican Leader in the Senate, has decided to declare “war” on the conservatives who disagree with him.”

Is it any wonder that Obama has lately had a smile constantly on his face despite all the negative press and disappointing news from his ObamaCare sources? Sen. McConnell (no connection with this author) has made liberal Democrats joyous at the feud between conservatives in the party and RINO-liberal sympathizers, during the recent and all upcoming election cycles nationwide.

It’s like an early Christmas present to the liberals Democrats. Well, maybe not Christmas, per se, that being of the Christian faith for which all liberal Democrats have nothing but negative thoughts and desires. This anti-Christianism amongst the LibDems has reached the highest levels of swiftly becoming atheists with our usurper illegal POTUS office holder, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama himself, bringing death-knell decisions outlawing all Christian activities, particularly in our military service branches.

Christians, who once numbered in the eighty percent levels of our country’s population, still register in the lower 70s percent range. Losses, mostly in the non-white communities, who favor Obama’s personal attentions paid them, largely account for the drops in national levels.

This recent quote from Wikipedia, Christianity is the most popular religion in the United States, with around 73% of polled Americans identifying themselves as Christian in 2012. This is down from 86% as recent as 1990…”

Probably helping to diminish the ranks of Christians were comments from Obama’s pastor for 20 years who was a highly questionable Christian, Rev. Jeremiah Wright; most notably when he commented, “[Mar 13, 2008] Sen. Barack Obama’s pastor says blacks should not sing “God Bless America” but “God damn America.”

If Obama is a Christian, as he often asserts, why doesn’t he support the values and tenets of that religion instead of excoriate it and rule against true Christian believers as he has openly and unabashedly done particularly with those in our military forces? If a Christian, his targets for denunciation should be those who put down Christianity, not agree and rule against them.

But these days Barack Obama is not only a political enemy of Christians but has been under the political bedsheets with the very RINO-like minority leader of the U. S. Senate, Mitch McConnell. Many believe that the reason McConnell is striking out at Republican Conservatives is because they are a main thorn in his side and as part of the nebulous Tea Party are providing conservative opponents to contest his seat in the next national election. But he is going about it in a distinctly unprincipled way thereby giving fodder to the conservatives for their campaigns.

In the Lexington Herald Leader article on Senator McConnell’s “declaration of war” on Republican conservatives as reported in the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) “Senate Update” the Republican Leader “is specifically targeting the Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF), Heritage Action, Madison Project, and FreedomWorks in a misguided attempt to destroy the Tea Party.”

But as the article goes on to state, “that’s not all… McConnell’s operatives told the New York Times that he has ordered the Republican Party to stop doing business with private companies that provide services to SCF and to oppose candidates endorsed by SCF.

Their offense? They’re associated with our grassroots organization and we support Matt Bevin, McConnell’s conservative primary challenger.”

The SCF once led by former South Carolina Republican Senator Jim DeMint, no great friend of Sen. Mitch McConnell, went on to suggest that he, McConnell, can’t hurt the SCF directly so he instead punishes vendors and conservative candidates. That pretty much answers the question of why we have so many RINOs who vote more with liberal Democrats than with traditional Republicans with conservative values as were bred in the patriots of Revolutionary days.

The SCF also charges in the Senate Update mentioned above, that “Not only has McConnell forced his party to support bailouts, debt limit increases, tax hikes, and funding for ObamaCare, he’s now going to force it to abandon the free market and even freedom of speech. Here’s what his Chief of Staff, Josh Holmes, told the New York Times:

“S.C.F. has been wandering around the country destroying the Republican Party like a drunk who tears up every bar they walk into.”

It is expected when we hear liberal Democrats, of the Socialist ilk, calling out and branding true conservative patriots with all-American values as terrorists or worse, but when the Senate Minority Leader’s Chief of Staff (Holmes) labels conservatives as like “drunks” tearing up bars, it is pretty reprehensible and totally uncalled for.

But it is, in my humble opinion, better than being charged with being disloyal to the true values of the Party and being called a RINO who betrays the conservative mantra and hands the Socialist liberal Democrats unearned victories.

Evidence once again that the Republican establishment could give two figs about their conservative base.  Conservatives are only useful for votes.  Ten seconds after an election we are discarded.

Fighting a declared enemy is fairly simple but it is vastly more difficult to fight an enemy within our own ranks.  McConnell is only one a few in the Senate.

I remain disgusted.

I’ve already made my decision. Screw the establishment French Repubics. Why vote for an asshole who cannot stand me?

  2. Buck says:

Exactly, Clyde. The sonofabitches need to learn, sooner or later, that they either put up a conservative candidate or they lose the election. They either support the people’s choice or his loss is on their shoulders.
One day there will be a hostile takeover of the GOP national chair and maybe then there will be a house cleaning. Just because someone calls himself a Republican nowhere near makes him a Republican, John McCain. You sorry sack of schidt…

  3. This perfectly applies to what the Nation is going through right now.

Treason doth never prosper: what’s the reason? Why if it prosper, none dare call it treason.

    John Harrington

We have elected the most insidious fifth column in world history. IMHO

  4. BrianR says:

I find this eternally fascinating, how the PSP is absolutely intent on alienating and “declaring war” on their own alleged “base”. Who are they going to replace those votes with? They’re putting themselves in the position of relying on the same votes the Dems already have locked up. This is a strategic phuque-up of the first order.

Instead of busily “compromising” with the damned Dem/socialists, you’d think they’d be trying to find some common ground with conservatives. Instead, they’re setting fire to their own ship while they’re in the middle of the ocean.

    Really, really stupid.

    • Hardnox says:

Well said. I’ve never understood that logic either. Follow the money is the only reason that I can surmise. The special interest bucks are apparently too tempting.

      • Garnet92 says:

Brian’s right. There is more cooperation between Republican “leadership” and the democrats than there is between those same “leaders” and conservatives – to the determent of both. The rift between the two factions of the party is because:
        1) conservatives don’t trust the RINOs to support a conservative agenda and we rebel because we’re so tired of seeing the RINOs surrender whenever the dems take a firm stand on anything.
        2) the Republican leadership is jealous of conservatives because of the fervor and loyal support of their base – the support for the RINO wing of the party is lukewarm at best.
Unfortunately, bringing the two factions together will be damn-near impossible, so the solution is to vote more conservatives into office and we can beat the remaining RINOs into submission.

  5. Garnet92 says:

I propose another new acronym – ABTA. It stands for “Assholes By Their Actions,” and Mitch McConnell ought to be nominated as the Head Asshole (close race with John McCain). I hereby promise to contribute money to Matt Bevin and to return any solicitation from the RNC with a strongly worded reason for NOT contributing to them. They need to learn that their assholeist actions have consequences.

    • Hardnox says:

      ABTA… I like it.

I have made it a practice to write a two word response with a felt marker on their solicitations and returning them in the prepaid envelope. So far they haven’t gotten the message.

  6. Kathy says:

Seldom do these idiots put bills through with losing to the Dems, and dividing the party will only make that worse. Utterly stupid and making the Tea Party candidates look better and better.

    • Hardnox says:

Indeed. This is all their making, not Conservatives. had the establishment actually stuck with their platform, which THEY wrote, there would be no problem.

  7. Buck says:

Grouchy: John Stormer wrote a book back in early ’60’s, “None Dare Call It Treason”. If you haven’t read it, it is still available at Amazon. Very interesting read.

    • I have that book, and that is what this post brought to mind, along with the comments. Gary Allen, 1971, wrote a book, “None Dare Call It Conspiracy”, which is another fantastic read, also available from Amazon.
BTW, “None Dare Call It Treason, 25 Years later” is also available through Amazon sellers.

Buck, we’ve been warned for YEARS~! Ever since I became politically aware (?) in the early 1960’s, through the John Birch Society.

That’s 53 years. And all the Dutch boys with their fingers in the dike are not able to overcome the apathetical zombieism of the American Looter Society.

But the way things are going, I figure we’ll go out trying~!

The TEA Party movement warned the RINOs back in 2010 that if they didn’t shape up, they were in as much hot water as the moonbats. McConnell’s been drinking the RINO scotch too long! He along with Bonehead and Johnny Mac binged out on the hooch, and they’re paying the price now. They need to step down with Rinsed Prius and retire. We already gave Michael Steele the boot when he humiliated the party by letting some frat boys hang out with strippers and run up a tab.

    • Hardnox says:

2010 should have been the wake-up call for the establishment but obviously they refuse to understand that. Instead they have doubled down on policies.
