Washington’s open secret: Profitable PACs — 60 minutes report

I’ll only point out one of the many examples.

It’s the invasion of the pacs. I’m trying to think of a Pac-man joke but can’t. I suppose there could be some oversight on PACs, ha ha ha. But the age old excuse is its nothing illegal, and everyone does it.

NJ rep. Robert Andrews “I, ah, follow the rules. I met the standards…”. I bet there is someone standing there saying that he just had to do that.

“….my obligation is not to talk about those investigations,” says Andrews. It’s amazing how much mileage that excuse has gotten lately. Yea, MROFER is what you get spelling reform backwards.

After all, it’s a family business, like the cosa nostra.
“Ethics reform bills” — now you’re really scaring me!

I saw this segment of Sunday night. Supposedly 60 Minutes spent 6 months investigating this. Heck, we could have told them for free.

This is a prime example of why we need term limits. The old argument that elections are term limits is bullshit. The deck is stacked so high for the incumbent that no one new gets a chance.

Well look at who the PACs target, LIVs. Folks who never question the MSM. Or question the veracity of elected politicians…. At least ones with a “D” behind their name..

If these PAC’s were so lily-white the political hacks would never use them. Time for term limits, AND the elimination of PAC’s.
