Crazy Uncle Bernie, The Commie.

In a rambling, damn near incoherent blather to “Playboy” magazine recently, Ol’ Crazy Bernie once again proves liberalism is a mental disorder.

Sanders: Global warming more dangerous than al-Qaida.

Bernie among friends.

Bernie, since you are SO worried about a non-existent problem, visit THESE guys, and find out what THEY think. Don’t forget to wear your best sealskin coat!!

Forget al-Qaida. According to the Senate’s only openly socialist member, the  country’s main national security threat is global  warming.

In fact, Vermont Sen. Bernie  Sanders told Playboy magazine that climate change is  a bigger threat to the U.S. than al-Qaida. Sanders is an independent who  caucuses with the Democrats.

Sanders blames “hypercapitalism” for the inaction on global warming, due to  the fossil fuels industry manipulating the political process to drown out  efforts to cut carbon dioxide emissions.

“You have the entire scientific community saying we have to be very  aggressive in cutting greenhouse gas emissions,” Sanders said in the interview.  “Yet you’re seeing the heads of coal companies and oil companies willing to  sacrifice the well-being of the entire planet for their short-term profits. And these  folks are funding phony organizations to try to create doubt about the reality  of global warming.”

“Big business is willing  to destroy the planet for short-term profits. I regard that as just  incomprehensible. Incomprehensible. And because of their power over the  political process, you hear a deafening silence in the U.S. Congress and in  other bodies around the world about the severity of the problem. Global warming  is a far more serious problem than Al Qaeda,” Sanders added.

Activists and politicians have often cited national security  concerns when pushing for policies aimed at cutting U.S. carbon dioxide  emissions. In 2009, then Sen. John Kerry, chairman of  the Foreign Relations Committee, hoped to sway global warming skeptics to  support climate legislation by pushing a national security angle on rising  global temperatures.

The Obama administration, including Kerry, have continued to push the threats posed by  global warming, including rising sea levels, more droughts, and stronger  storms.

“Those who deny the science or choose excuses over action are playing with  fire,” said Secretary of State John Kerry. “Once  again, the science grows clearer, the case grows more compelling, and the costs of inaction  grow beyond anything that anyone with conscience or common sense should be  willing to even contemplate.”

However, military experts have disputed the idea that global warming is a  serious national security threat.

“There is no consensus in the scholarly or policy communities as to what  factors specifically contribute to, much less cause, conflict,” said William  Martel, associate professor of international security studies at Tufts University.

“There are plenty of studies that suggest exactly the opposite connection is  true — environmental issues do not necessarily cause conflict,” said Jeff  Kueter, president of the Marshall Institute.

Despite scholarly disagreements, Democrats have continued to press for more  domestic action to curb carbon emissions.

Earlier this year, Sanders and California Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer  introduced legislation to tax U.S. carbon emissions and use the funds to support  renewable energy development.

The bill failed to garner support from Republicans and some Democrats, and  Boxer has abandoned trying to move the bill to a floor vote, instead opting to  push a carbon tax through comprehensive tax reform.

What is it about Vermont, an absolutely beautiful state, that attracts so many loony leftists? How else does one explain the DISASTER that is Bernie Sanders being elected to the Senate? Other than the influx of leftist Bostonians, and Noo Yawkahs ?

Vermonters, get your heads OUT of the maple-baked beans, and Ben and Jerry’s containers, and start THINKING about WHO you are electing to “represent” you.

The FACTS about “climate change” are out there for ALL to see, yet morons like Crazy Uncle Bernie REFUSE to see them. Bernie, old commie pinko you, WHEN has THE CLIMATE flown into buildings ? WHEN has the climate blown up U.S. Embassies? When has CLIMATE executed an ambassador, and three American heroes?

The good people of Vermont really need to do some soul-searching BEFORE this asshat gets re-elected. Make it quick.

The fact that Bernie the commie got elected in the first place speaks volumes about Vermont. Btw, they have more hairy legged women per square mile than any other state.

  2. Clyde says:

Damn. Next time I go, remind me to take an extra “Lady McCullogh” power tree trimmer. Thanks, boss.

  3. bullright says:

Great article Clyde. Ha, nothing “Independent” about Bernie. Note from the polar bear society, “Come on, Bernie, come get you some….good old collectivism.”

    • Clyde says:

Thanks, Bull. Can’t quite figure out what the hell the Vermonters were thinking. Or, maybe it has to do with what they were smoking???

There is nothing as pathetic than an old hippie. Bernie is caught in a time warp and still thinks he’s working for the SNCC and it’s 1963. The only thing missing is a pony tail, tie-died shirts and a boom box blasting the Grateful Dead. IOW he’s a cliche. And a dangerous one according to his own words.

And I have to agree about the Vermont comments. The folks from Vermont are working very very hard to outdo us here on the left-coast. And considering I’ve spent most of my life here in the Peoples Republik Of Kalifornia that’s saying something. After all – I know a loon when I see one.

Too bad he wasn’t in the car with H. Rap Brown…..

  6. Mrs AL says:

Bernie can’t help it, Clyde. You know what those winters can do to susceptible brain cells!

    • Clyde says:

Mrs. Al, I can tell you for a FACT the cold weather has ZERO to do with Bernie, or his brain cells. From November 1 to April 15, for the past 10 years before I retired, I NEVER saw a day above 32 f. In fact, most often, where we were hauling to, it would be 0 f, or below MOST of the time. January and February, we would feel grateful if it did hit 0.
