Thought For Today – Oct. 16, 2013

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”

– From a Czech newspaper, quoted by Bernard Goldberg, after the 2012 election

…and THAT is the scary truth !

  2. Clyde says:

No question about it. Good piece.

  3. Mrs AL says:

But can the Republic survive Congresses refusal to bring the Presidency in line with the Constitution?

  4. Buck says:

And you would really be scared if you knew how many Obama voters are standing in line to vote for Hillary.

  5. Kathy says:

Mrs. AL said it – it’s the Congress and their actions we won’t survive. One man for 8 years? Yes, we can survive that, but it will take a long time, if ever, to correct the actions of a caving House and unconstitutional Senate.

  6. Garnet92 says:

“The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”

    Truer words were never spoken.
