Quote Of The Day — September 25, 2013

A man’s dignity isn’t measured by the people he has around him when he’s at the peak of his success, but by his ability not to forget those who helped him when his need was greatest.”

Grouchy, this is so very true. What is so sad is when people are given a hand up and then turn around and give the boot to those who helped him/her. Lack of gratitude and the focus on self is a growing cancer in this country. And cancer can kill.

    • IF folks would only realize that cooperation is the key to a sane and successful life, rather than the leeching attitude of the OWS and entitlement crowd, then we could eliminate the cancer. Focus on the self with integrity is cooperation with society as a whole. Without a sense of integrity is the property of a louse and a leech.
And that is where the cancer lies. And yes, indeed, Cancer Kills.
A very true comment, Mrs AL,,, unrealized by so many~!
