Quote Of The Day — September 8, 2013

.
The young all have the same dream: to save the world. Some quickly forget this dream, convinced that there are more important things to do, like having a family, earning money, traveling, and learning a foreign language. Others, though, decide that it really is possible to make a difference in society and to shape the world we will hand on to future generations.”

  1. Terry says:

I’ve done most of the “other important things to do ”
But saving the world is getting tougher and tougher.
But as our motto says :
    “Never Give Up, Never Surrender”

  2. Clyde says:

Good quote, too damn bad the leftists, in their quest to “save the world”, do MORE to screw it up.

  3. Kathy says:

Few of today’s youth know much about the world, let alone how to save it, thanks mostly to the shoddy education they get.

  4. Very true, Kathy. Good point~!

  5. vonmesser says:

The biggest problem with “saving the world” is WHO MAKES THE DECISION AS TO WHAT IS SALVATION AND WHAT IS DAMNATION? Mao and PolPot and Stalin and Hitler all were out to save the world too

    • Good Point, Vonmesser~! And so is our current Emperor. But he wants to remake the world in an image most do not want.

It’s all in a two part scenario: Perspective and then Premise of Action. Both are equally important and applicable.

  6. Mrs AL says:

Ok, maybe I have a warped set of brain cells, but seems to me that if we had only one or the other group, nothing would get accomplished for no one.
