Meet Your Fate

Welcome liberals and the uninvolved:

Think of the United States as an airplane.  Its structure is held together with rivets.  These rivets are made of the ideals expressed in the Declaration of Independence.  Their placement is dictated by the U.S. Constitution.  The result is the airplane called the united States, a Constitutional Republic. A unique country amongst all the others.

Some rivets have corroded over time.  Individual liberty and freedom have been rusting away almost from the beginning.  Man has a tendency to want power and control over others.  We rejected a monarchy once upon a time and now have a full blown aristocracy residing at the national government level.

Still other rivets were and are being removed or simply relocated (e.g., passage of the 17th Amendment).  The integrity of the airplane is now seriously compromised. This has resulted in the rickety condition in which we find this airplane today.

And what will be the final blow that leads to the complete tearing apart of our airplane? That’s debatable. What’s not debatable is what happens when that final rivet is removed or shifts and rips our airplane apart.

Meet your fate ….
